1919年Jervis B.Webb公司在密歇根州底特律成立。

1920年率先开发了地面输送机（chain-in-floor）式输送机并安装在密歇根州底特律斯Studbaker汽车生产厂。

1921年首先在悬挂链式输送机上使用roller skate wheels，并提供给密歇根州底特律的Fisher Body生产厂。

1925年Webb两轮小车悬挂式（Tow-wheel trolley overhead conveyor）输送机的专利权。

1927年获得Caterpillar发动机驱动的连续式悬挂输送机的专利权。

1932年获得Webb (multipower equalizing)发动机驱动的输送机的专利权。

1939年行业革命性的在俄亥俄州的阿克伦城Goodyear轮胎厂引入了积放式(power and free)输送机。

1948年在加利福尼亚州Crown Zellerbach公司引入了Towveyor?浅拖(Towveyor? towline)输送机。

1951年Webb锻造厂Webb Forging在密歇根州的巴勒维勒成立

1965年第一套计算机控制的物料储运系统引入密歇根州的贝城Chevrolet公司。

1968年获得钢盘卷自动压实和打捆(Automatic steel coil compact and banding)专利权。

1970年完成了第一台托盘积存式(Pallet accumulation)输送机的设计，测试以及制造。

1971年获得轻型封闭轨(Unibilt Stop-N-Flow?)积放输送机的专利权。

1972年获得Webb-Tray医院系统的专利权。

1974年在加拿大轮胎公司安装了世界上最大的计算机控制的自动化立体仓库AS/RS之一。

1977年自动化立体仓库(Automated Storage & Retrieval System列入Webb公司的产品线。

1980年将Unibilt技术已入垂直封闭轨积放(Over-N-Under Stop-N-Flow)输送机。

·同年在北卡罗莱纳州的里奇蒙德,Burlington工业自动工厂安装了Webb第一套集成系统。

1981年引进了反向Dog Magic?(Inverted Dog Magic)积放式(power-and-free)输送机。

· 封闭轨重载轨道输送机(Enclosed heavy-duty track conveyor)引入油漆和终饰工序。

·引进防污Red Seal?小车滚轮。

1982年在密苏里州圣路易斯的Chrysler汽车公司安装了第一套电动单轨自行运输小车系统(Automated Electrified Monorail(AEM) System)。

· 在俄亥俄州的温莎, Chrysler汽车公司总装车间安装了一套10英里长的反向积放链生产线(Inverted power-and-free conveyor)。

1983年Webb为IBM设计并安装了一套灵活的生产系统, 该系统将反向积放输送线(Inverted power-and-free conveyor)和机器人工作站进行了系统集成。

1984年引入了宽推杆积放式悬挂输送机(Wide Wing Overhead Dog Magic)
