Charlatte Model CFB2000 medium duty tractor is a self-propelled battery powered support vehicle designed with a 2-ton (1814 kg) capacity rear platform, which reduces baggage cart requirements and is perfect for interline and last minute baggage transfers. Despite its longer rear platform, the unit is highly maneuverable with a 147″ (3.75m) turning radius. The unit is designed to withstand the severe operational requirements encountered in today’s ramp environment, and the majority of components are compatible with the T-135 battery powered baggage tractor and the CBL2000E battery powered belt loader.

The unit is capable of a top running speed of 20 mph (32.2 km/h) when empty and has a towing capability of 17,600 lbs (7983 kg). Power for the main drive is supplied by a DC motor, which is directly coupled to the rear axle. The operators compartment contains all the controls and indicators necessary to drive the unit including foot operated accelerator pedal and brake pedal, directional lever, keyless power switch, light switch, and horn switch as well as a LCD display, which provides information on the units operation and aids in troubleshooting.
